Here at Port Adelaide we exist to win premierships. It’s that simple and as a football club we will be doing everything in our power to achieve our vision. 

It’s time to really step it up on-field – and we have made a good start. 

The recent appointments of AFL Senior Coach Ken Hinkley, Director of Coaching and Strategy Alan Richardson and High Performance Manager Darren Burgess are a big step in the right direction. 

But there’s more to do to match it with our rivals and Port Adelaide needs YOUR HELP to take the club to the next level. 

The reality is that Port Adelaide’s football department spend is near the bottom of the AFL which puts us at a competitive disadvantage because we know there’s a correlation between this investment and on-field success.

Many of our rivals are blessed with multiple line coaches, more technical analysts and highly-resourced recruiting and player support networks. 

The ever more competitive trade period with the introduction of free agency adds another dimension to the ultra-competitive AFL world. To be successful, we must use this to our advantage and identify and recruit key players who will make us better. 

We need to continue to aggressively pursue the best people available – whether it’s players, coaches or support staff. 

We’ll do what it takes, but that’s made easier with your support…through the new Port Adelaide Premiership Fund. 

Your contribution – which can be pledged at the time of renewing or purchasing your membership – will support a strategy that is two-fold:

• We need to build a football structure that gives us the ability to consistently compete in both the AFL and the SANFL – and to win!
• In addition we want that structure integrated in a way that no-one else can replicate to ensure we use our unique club environment to develop our own playing, coaching and support talent to keep the Power and the Magpies successful long into the future.

Your contribution will be invested directly in to our football programs, setting us up for that one clear goal - and that is to win! We will report annually to each donor to the Port Adelaide Premiership Fund outlining exactly where their support has been invested.
